COMMUNITY COMPLIANCE NOTICE

 

Subject: Compliance with DMCC Bicycle Usage and Community Safety Regulations

 

Dear Valued Owners and Residents,

 

Please be informed that the building management has received an official circular from the DMCC Master Community regarding the regulation of bicycle usage within the community premises, in accordance with Executive Council Resolution No. (13) of 2022 Regulating the Use of Cycles in the Emirate of Dubai.

 

All tenants, retailers, contractors, service providers, delivery operators and riders accessing or operating within the premises are hereby instructed to strictly comply with the following requirements with immediate effect:

•  -Bicycles must be ridden safely and responsibly at all times.

•  -Reckless riding, speeding, zigzagging between pedestrians, riding against traffic or any unsafe riding behaviour is strictly           prohibited.

•  -Riding bicycles on pedestrian walkways, jogging tracks, landscaped areas, children’s play areas and other pedestrian-priority   zones is not permitted unless specifically authorised.

•  -Riders must comply with all community signage, including “Dismount” instructions where applicable.

•  -Bicycles are not permitted in parking ramps, vehicle circulation areas, service roads or car parks unless specifically authorised.

•  -All riders must wear appropriate safety helmets and reflective/high-visibility vests while operating within the community.

•  -Bicycles must only be parked in designated bicycle parking areas.

•  -Blocking entrances, exits, walkways, emergency routes, loading areas, retail frontages or public areas with bicycles is strictly     prohibited.

•  -Overnight parking or storage of bicycles in non-designated areas is not allowed.

•  -Companies and business operators are responsible for ensuring that their riders and delivery personnel are properly briefed and   comply fully with all applicable rules and designated routes.

 

Please note that any violations, unsafe practices, obstruction, or damage caused to community property may result in action being taken by DMCC and/or the relevant authorities. Repeated non-compliance linked to any tenant, operator or service provider may also affect access permissions and community arrangements.

 

All concerned parties are requested to circulate this notice among their staff, contractors, riders and delivery partners and ensure immediate compliance.
